Claire Maloney,

Director & Founder

Founder, and Director, of The Bravery, producing creative, and high-impact strategies and campaigns with implementation multichannel integration capabilities.

This is delivered under Claire’s leadership of 18 years experience in consumer, corporate, not-for-profit (NFP), and association sectors.

Her experience moves through multiple categories; FMCG, waste and recycling, healthcare and wellbeing, product stewardship, energy and carbon, circular economy, technology, mental health, organics, built environment, women’s sector, retail, international aid, fashion, travel and adventure, food and beverage, night-time industries, and environmental conservation.

She is a communications, media, and social media expert within current affairs and issues-rich environments, with specialist issues/crisis management skills.

Claire has served on multiple boards, including girls and women’s education empowerment NFP One Girl, and currently as a Board Member of Comms Declare.

Rachel Harrison, Senior Account Director

Rachel is The Bravery's Account Director, providing senior client consultation and developing strategic campaigns to help brands and organisations create the biggest impact.

Rachel relocated to Sydney from London where she had over eight years of experience in corporate and purpose PR, working with C-suite and business leaders worldwide to build their profile, create a compelling narrative and make a difference. For four years, Rachel represented UN Patron of the Oceans, Lewis Pugh, on his mission to secure 30% of the world's oceans to be protected by 2030, currently the largest conservation drive in history.

Rachel was awarded Headlinemoney PR Rising Star of the Year 2019, nominated and voted for by national and industry media, and was named one of Propel's Top 100 Most Influential PRs In The World 2021.

Felicia Charman, Social Media Account Director

Felicia is The Bravery’s Social Media Account Director, responsible for overarching digital strategy for all clients and leading our internal social and digital team. She brings over 7 years of experience in digital marketing, specialising in building digital strategy, social media growth and content creation.

Originally hailing from Adelaide and previously working for Sparro in Sydney, Felicia has worked with leading national and international ecommerce brands on their integrated digital strategy with both organic and paid channels. She has worked across FMCG, fashion, fintech, charity and NFP clients, focusing on stakeholder management and curating a social first approach for each individual client.

Felicia has trained both internal and client teams of up to 80+ people on the tools, specialising in Meta and TikTok technical skills and creative strategy. Her goal is to always find a way to use the power of social media to communicate with each client’s target audience through content that leaves a lasting impact.

 

Claudia Bergen, PR Account Manager

Claudia is a PR Account Manager at The Bravery. Having graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor in Communications (PR and Advertising), Claudia has over 4 years of experience in the industry.

Working across a diverse portfolio of both consumer and corporate accounts, Claudia has experience in media publicity, event management, influencer marketing and social media spaces, managing accounts in fashion, lifestyle, audio technology, aged care and logistics and freight sectors.

In 2023, she completed the IPREX Academy for a leadership course in communications account and team management. With a passion for fashion and consumer sustainability as well as women and human rights, she uses storytelling to create an impact with her clients.

Emma Eager, Account Executive

Emma is an Account Executive at The Braverywith a background in paid social and performance media. She has a degree in Communications & Media, majoring in Marketing and Advertising, with a minor in Public Relations from the University of Wollongong.

Emma provides support across a number of client accounts in both the PR and Social Media space. Emma brings a passion for women’s rights, sustainable consumption and fashion, and LGBTQIA+ rights. She is interested in working towards building a better environment and society, providing a strong ethic in continuing to understand the media landscape.

Kate Atkinson, Senior Consultant

Kate Atkinson is a senior communications consultant, brand strategist and copywriter with a global career that spans more than 15 years split between NY, London and Sydney.

She has worked for some of the world’s leading lifestyle PR firms including Berlin Rosen and DKC (NY) Purple PR (LDN). She has extensive experience in the purpose-led space working with high profile organisations like The Ford Foundation on a Responsible Travel to Cuba campaign with CREST, Represent Justice, Families Belong Together and The Young Arts Foundation.

Passionate about women's and humanitarian issues and the sweet spot where brands and purpose intersect, she has also worked with clients including Queens Museum, Lincoln Center, Audible, Nike, Beats by Dre, General Motors, Delta Airlines, Singapore Airlines and more.

Kate has also written for several magazines worldwide including Vogue, GQ, Teen Vogue and Dazed Digital on social trends.
